Jane O'Connor was born and grew up in South East London. She has since worked in Photography, Market Research and Mental Health Nursing. She now lives just outside London with her husband Tom and two dogs.

Although she continues to work as a Nurse, Jane now spends much of her time as a Freelance Writer and Journalist. She has contributed to trade magazine like the Nursing Times and www.nursinginpractice.com, providing news stories, research-in-brief and evidence-based practice precis.
